I was a member of the International Committee and moderated a session during the Global Education Conference week. I was wondering - do we get any sort of certificate for being moderators or part of the International Committee?
Thanks for your great work and for making possible this fantastic network experience,
Bonjour,je suis heureux d'appartenir a ce groupe et j'aimerais savoir comment faire pour obtenir de l'aide ou financement pour le projet de notre association
Hi Lucy, all the best for the start of the conference. I will catch you early in my morning. Great to see all your hard work come to fruition. Hope you have time or make time to enjoy!
HI, Lucy -- hope that I got through the posting directions okay for the submission process -- I am learning as I go, and pushing 70 years old. These university students tend to keep me thinking younger, however. I checked into the conference last year, hoping to find more on students with special needs; I am currently involved in APPS for very young children with autism. Tremendous gains in language acquisition, but couldn't get free enough to work up a presentation -- maybe next year. I love my work. I think you love what you do, too. M2
Thank you, Lucy! That helps quite a bit! I was really excited to go to the www.iearn.org site and I plan on registering as soon as they start accepting information from new applicants tomorrow. In the mean time, I'll be browsing through projects to see how I can enhance my curriculum to benefit my students.
hey Lucy - glad to have landed here! i'm having a good nosey around and wondering why it's taken me so long. am already formulating a conference proposal idea so i'm sure you'll hear from me again soon.
I think I have made some mistakes......I have written my details in the wrong area...moreover,I would really like to present my proposal on the topic mentioned ....
Do I need to mention my blog or the site that I am administering for a project in the URL category...???Sorry,if I sound stupid..
Globalization is real and initiatives of these kinds are to be encouraged. Looking forward to bringing my modest contribution from a small West Afriacan francophone Country, Senegal.

Once again thatnk you for the opportunity. Even though the even was small the emails we recieved are filled with heart.
There is and impartnat question that seems to come up time and again. None of our curriculum seems to address it.
"How to heal a broken heart? -- A teachers guide" Joni and I certainly have enough material and you tubes to do a breath taking presentation on this. We have so much pain in our classrooms that teachers need a way to get inside.
I believe Joni and I can bring people into our world. With such a presentation and help a bunch of people. It certainly is a program I can use in the mission.
After you and Steve get some sleep we can brain storm this.
Again, You two are doing a wonderful service. Get some rest.
I have not received any reply to my offer (from way back) to be on the International Advisory Board for the 2011 Global Education conference. Has anyone also experienced this no response or is it just me?
I request to sign the petition "Replace Violent Time with Peace Time" for UN to take action in the site http://www.change.org/petition/peacetime so that PEACE prevails in the world. Please also ask all your friends in the facebook to sign this petition.

Hi Lucy,
Africa is about as interesting as you imagine it would be. Incredible stories to tell after day one, a seriously different place and one that would blow a global educators mind. What they have done and how far they have come is nothing short of a miracle. Off to Soweto today - so can only imagine how my brain is about to grow!
