Tomorrow (Wednesday Feb 27) I'm facilitating a workshop at the Northwest Council for Computer Education Conference in Seattle about integrating global perspectives into projects using social networking tools and digital media - the goal is to give a hands-on taste not only of all the excellent global resources and content out there, but what they can do to build their own network and learn from other educators, like all of you! I'd love help from any members of the Global Education Collaborative:
-Please feel free to post comments here with advice or suggestions for teachers who are just getting started (including links to existing projects)
-If you would like to join us for a segment of the workshop in real time (the group will be together from 1-4 pm Pacific, or click here to see what time that is for you
), please let me know and I will give you access to the TIGed classroom space we'll be using so you can interact with the group in Seattle.
Hope this gives some of you an opportunity to find collaborators and share your knowledge! Thanks in advance!
