I am looking to do a collaboration with another primary classroom (low elementary) during the next school year. I would like to do this using web 2.0 tools. I've had mixed success with ePals. If you are pro-active and seek out…"

What if we organized something simple using a different tool each month? I'm no longer working directly in a school, but I could easily find some partners or have my own children participate.
Here are some ideas:
1) add your school to a Google Map
2) create a group in Flickr and upload a picture of your school, or we could have themes such as food, playgrounds, games and classes would upload a theme picture every month accompanied by a written description
3) create a podcast channel (Podomatic maybe?) where classes all contribute something on a theme
4) do a global bookclub and incorporate something like Bookcrossing?
These are just a few ideas. I also suggest you check out Rock Our World: http://globaleducation.ning.com/profile/RockOurWorld
