About Me or Reason for Joining the GEC:
I am currently full time faculty in the Language, Literacy and Special Education Department at Rowan University. I have been involved with schools in Guatemala since 1997, training teachers through literacy institutes. A volunteer initiative, I have brought student teachesr to Guatemala to visit and learn about education there. I would be most interested in fostering collaborative initiatives with student teachers and teachers in other countries as well. I will be visiting Ireland this November and would be interested in visiting and meeting educators there.
