- I taught for the last 2 years, and am taking a year off to start a non-profit called Portfoliyo.org to help teachers with parent communication. I want to join the GEC because I plan on being an educator for the rest of my life and want to connect with educators from all across the world. I'm fascinated by the different nuances between every countries education system, and am exited to learn what brings all of us together.
