About Me or Reason for Joining the GEC:
As a student whose provincial curriculum did not provide a focus on global issues, I have been working hard to build my own knowledge in this area, and to help youth across Canada gain access to more educational opportunities related to global education. Whether it has been through helping coordinate national youth conferences with Oxfam Canada, launching the EWB Teacher Champion Program, or starting my own organization in my home province of Newfoundland, I am passionate about building opportunities and connections for youth worldwide.
