About Me or Reason for Joining the GEC:
I am interested in promoting global citizenship through intercultural experiences. I offer a course in Ireland on Education for Global Citizenship as a way of getting US teachers and college students to experience divided societies, reconciliation, post conflict reconstruction and global impact in the context of one of the world's most hopeful peace agreements. I teach social studies methods and seek to infuse global perspectives into the curriculum.
