About Me or Reason for Joining the GEC:
As an associate professor of German (language, culture, literature), I'm very interested in promoting international education. Most of our students at East Carolina University study in Germany; some go to Austria and Switzerland as well. When they return, they all have matured. The emotional, intellectual and social growth that comes from leaving the confines of your own culture is sorely needed in our world.

I also serve as campus advisor for the Fulbright Student Programs.
