Hi Ben: Yes, let's Skype one on one first. My Skype name is Ainola 12. Feel free to call me in the morning sometime. I arrive at school at 8:00 a.m. Central (9:00 Eastern) and have my first class at 8:55 Central (9:55 Eastern). So, I'm free to talk from 9:00-9:55 your time. You could try to call tomorrow (Friday) if you'd like. Hopefully I will hear the Skype phone ring!

If you don't mind, let me know your Skype name too so I could call you.

In the meantime, tell me where you are in Florida. What is the name of your school? Thanks.

Bill

Hi Ben: Good to hear from you. Sure! We'd be interested in doing a Skype session sometime. What grade level were you thinking of doing this with? What time of the day? Mornings between 10:00-1:00 Eastern time work for us. I have 2nd grades from 10-11, 4th grades from 11-12, and 5th grades from 12-1:00 (all times Eastern.) Let me know what works for you.

We use a large flat screen TV for our Skype sessions. I hook my laptop through the TV for a big picture. We also get good sound reception as we listen through our classroom sound system. I do my Skyping through the built in camera in my MacBook Pro.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Bill Vaananen
