About Me or Reason for Joining the GEC:
I'm an elementary teacher who has worked with students from a variety of ethnic, language and socio-economic backgrounds. The students in my current school are approx 90% Hispanic ELLs and have little exposure to other peoples and cultures. I'd like to give them at least a taste of what life is like outside their neighborhood.
