I teach K-5 Spanish at Westtown, a PK-12 Quaker school in southeastern PA. I've been granted a sabbatical leave for one term next year, to visit language programs at other schools. I'll be looking at three aspects of language teaching:

1) Successful articulation of language programs in schools/districts where language is taught K-12.
2) Teachers and programs using TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) as their main teaching methodology, particularly to engage students who are not successful in a traditional grammar-driven curriculum.
3) Programs focused on 21st century learning and making use of 21st century tools to tap into global connections for language teaching and learning.

I'd love to hear from teachers who would welcome a visit next winter or spring or others who  would like to exchange ideas in this forum.

Anyone?

Hi Anny,

Will you be visiting other schools globally, or just in the USA?

Adrienne
I'm not limited to the US. Any suggestions?
