Comment by Lucy Gray on May 14, 2013 at 1:27pm Brad, why don't you post this as a discussion forum post on the front page, so the entire community can see it? I can also then send it out over social media.

The State of Global Education:
Learning with the World and its People
Edited by Brad Maguth & Jeremy Hilburn
This book, to be published by Routledge, will include peer-reviewed manuscripts of research on ways in which teachers and students learn about and with the world and its people. The purpose of this book is two-fold: to explore the theoretical foundations of global education, and to initiate a conversation to begin to answer the question, what are the characteristics of the next generation of global education? We broadly call this next generation, Global Education 2.0. The text will be divided into three sections:
Timeline for publication
Interested authors should submit a chapter abstract to the book’s co-editor. For additional inquires or to submit a proposal please contact Brad Maguth bmaguth@uakron.edu

Comment by Deb Gilbertson on November 17, 2011 at 2:31am You are invited to have your students participate in the 2012 Global Enterprise Experience, April 26 - May 17. They will be a member of a global team with eight colleagues coming from diverse countries – rich and poor, big and small, and with world views that are worlds apart. The global teams jointly develop a business case for a profitable product or service to link developed and developing countries. The contest is free to enter on www.geebiz.org. Judged by global leaders, members of the champion team as well as the top participant each win NZ$1000. For more details see www.geebiz.org.”
