This is what I'm thinking for our summit....
First Hour: Pecha Kucha presentations related to global education and collaboration.
Second Hour: Small group crafting of a global collaboration manifesto
Third Hour: Meet your collaborators "speed dating" sessions. We all sit across from each other at tables and have 1 minute to tell our global collaboration story or elaborate on our interests. At the end of sharing (2 minutes), one side of the table moves one chair to repeat the process with the next person across from them. The idea would be to help people to get to know each other a bit better.
Thoughts?

If you want to attend any ISTE event after this, you will need to register to attend that conference. Anyone can attend this particular face to face event and there is no cost.

Permalink Reply by Roman Cardona on June 5, 2012 at 10:21am Perfect! Now I UNDERSTAND! , So all I need now are the basics: Time, place, flowers/no flowers, formal wear, etc.
I apologize for any perceived shenanigans, but I am really excited for the possibility to participate in this activity, and my mind won't stop racing with all the possibilities.
Permalink Reply by Lucy Gray on June 5, 2012 at 1:33pm It will be in the San Diego Convention center and we've already posted the time if you'll refer to the event that is posted under EVENTS. I don't have a room number yet, and the attire is informal. No flowers! :)
