Anyone can apply to be a member of the outreach and advisory board. Advisory board members are recognized on the website and are asked to do any of the following activities:

  • Actively promote both participation and attendance at the conference.
    • Post conference information to social media.
    • Follow GlobalEdCon on social media and re-post conference information using the hashtag #globaled16
    • Encourage educators and students to submit proposals for the conference here.
  • Host in person viewing parties in your school or workplace.
  • Help us find additional partner organizations in their region(s).
    • Encourage non-profits and NGOs with a global focus to present their work at GlobalEdCon and to partner with us
    • Ask potential partner organizations to post digital flyers to their networks and social media channels.
  • If possible, help moderate sessions during the actual conference.
    • Also, feel free to answer any questions posed in the chat on the front page of our website.
    • Sign up for volunteer duties here.

As a conference that is focused on being "inclusive," our desire is to help a broad audience see themselves as full participants and presenters, not just the audience.

To sign up for the advisory board, please make sure you have joined the globaleducationconference.com network, and then, first, join this outreach and advisory board group here.
