Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
Since 1996, New Tech Schools have been a leader in 21st century education. Through engaging project based learning, a strong culture of collaboration, and tech-infused instruction, New Tech students are empowered to take more control of their learning and learn the essential skills to succeed in college and careers. With an existing network of 86 schools in 16 states, New Tech is quickly learning learning how to successful implement it's successful school model in a wide variety of settings - including international schools.
This presentation helps educators learn the specific strategies and technologies we use to create a student-centered collaborative culture and how that leads to improved student engagement, academic success, and measurable 21st century skills. We are eager to share our lessons learned and explore ways to connect our students and teachers to the global community of learners.
