Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

In 1923, after the end of the civil war in Tajikistan began to develop cultural industries. Most attention was paid to education and science. Inspection took control on schools and madrasas (Islamic religion schools). In order to attract the attention of children at the time of learning solutions to this problem was given to people who was very conservative.  They are generally agreed that it is necessary to open new schools. Soviet power from the first days of existence, its activities directed to the development of education. While public education was established, the activity of which was sent to reform school. Since 1925, public education Tajikistan decided on compulsory education.

Thus until 1929, gradually appeared in Tajikistan Soviet schools. But in Tajikistan has not been in higher education. For Tajikistan personnel with higher education were preparing in Samarkand, Tashkent and Moscow side. From 1917 to 1928, Tajikistan simultaneously use three of the alphabet, ie, Arabic, Latin and Russian. In 1931, in Dushanbe operated educational and medical institutions, schools, the 50s have been provided the necessary training books and manuals also improved the contingent of teachers.

Education in independent years

Ministry of education is one of the influential organs that brings our country to the high achievements and can make it more advanced. On one of the meetings our president Emomali Rahmon said: “Ministry of education from the beginning was very rich and will be like that for the rest time.” The attention of our president is valid to the upbringing of our Youth, he pays a big attention to the system of education in Tajikistan. At this meeting was proposed that the system of education in Khatlon is lower than in Soughd region, what’s the reason? The reason is that we suffered a great sorrow. After the result of the military conflict unreasonable civil war majority of people were left without homes and shelters. Children were left without any means and some were orphans (сироты) so they were left out of school. Teachers were working with a very low paid salary, but step by step people became more tolerant to each other. Gratefully our  president of country Emomalii Rahmon became a head of the republic and he made our Motherland stabilized and peaceful. So now we live in peace and friendship. Certainly ministry of education supports children to plan and achieve goals for their bright future, and the students build their future. Step by step the ministry of education became more advanced comparing to the earliest periods.

Today launched in the many schools and other educational ESTABLISHMENTS. So it may be noted that in our country there is a new type of school lyceums, colleges, universities, to give steps educated graduates of these universities are awarded a bachelor's and master's degrees.

State with a year on year increase in the education budget, which aims to improve the material and technical base of this area as a whole. So most of the country's schools equipped with computers.

Computer science was introduced at schools. Certainly we live in a century of technology. Our caring country handed out computers to all schools. It has been several years that we the students study with new advanced educational programs, such as teambuilding. This means that ministry of education is developing. We can see new changes in ministry of education. Students take part in city, regional and Republic Olympiads and get places by winning the Olympiads. Besides, students participate in new type of Olympiads that pass through the Internet online and get prizes and awards, also in our schools use electronic whiteboard.

Thanks to the development of science and technology in our country, our children know how to be in collaboration with a student’s and teachers  of different countries. Before it was just they dream to talk between each other and to share they life experience. From May 2012 thnaks iEARN USA in Tajikistan started GCE – program.  This program is supported to give opportunity Tajik students to use journalism and to publish their article and reports in the WYN or they local newspapers. This program will help to educate new technology and computers and internet capabilities.

WYN and GCEP will help teachers and students share information about they school and get back new ideas for the improving education system in Tajikistan.

GCE, World youth news  and Collaboration center in generally gave new breath in education system in Tajikistan because it is very good opportunity for them to learn new technology and meet with they teenagers online.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE FINDING A TIME TO PRESENT-DIANE

iEARN International Conference and Youth Summit 2012 Session Acceptance

Thank you so much for your session proposal for the 2012 iEARN International Conference and Youth Summit!  We're please to let you know that your submission has been accepted! Your proposal is now in the "iEARN accepted proposals" list on the website. Here are some important tasks for you.

1.  Because we have sessions being presented from all different time zones, as a speaker you actually schedule your own session time at http://iearn.youcanbook.me. This allows you to see the available slots and to pick something that works within your time zone, work schedule, or other constraints. We're quite proud of how this works, as it is one of the benefits of a virtual conference, but if you should fun into any difficulties finding a time that works for you, email me directly (dmidness@us.iearn.org).

We encourage you to do this quickly, as proposals are being reviewed in the order in which they were submitted, so your priority for selecting a session time depends on you scheduling right away. When you do select you time, be sure that the scheduling system has the correct time zone for you!
To schedule your session, you should open http://www.globaleducationconference.comto your presentation proposal (you can do a search on your name to find it, or click on "My Page" in the top menu and then click on the "discussion" link on the left side to find it). Open the session booking link from above in another tab. You will find it easiest to copy the information from one to the other rather than re-type it.  Once completed, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking.

2. As a presenter, you need to make sure you are a member of the iEARN conference "presenters group" on the network website. Most of our announcements to speakers will be sent to the members of this group, so as not to email all site members. Join the group (or check to make sure you're already a member) athttp://www.globaleducationconference.com/group/iearn-2012-conferenc....

3. Presenters are responsible for knowing how to use Blackboard Collaborate (formerly Elluminate).  We will have a cadre of volunteers on hand during the conference to help with any issues, but you need to go through the moderator training for Collaborate if you are not a seasoned user. There will be a variety of training resources at the GEC Collaborate website, and we email the speakers group in some weeks alerting you to actual live training sessions.

Again, we are so delighted to have you participating in the 2012 iEARN International Conference and Youth Summit.  Thank you!

Best,
iEARN Conference Planning Committee
