NEH Summer Institute in Turkey
Now Accepting Applications for Primary Source NEH Summer Institute in Turkey
Travel to Turkey this summer and experience Primary Source's new summer institute for teachers, Ottoman Cultures: Society, Politics and Trade in the Turkish Empire, 1299-1922. This course is made possible by generous funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Applications are due March 4th, 2013. Learn more...
The three-week institute will be held in Turkey (Istanbul and surrounding cities) and will run from July 8 – 26, 2013. The course will include a 5-day excursion to Anatolia to retrace the 150-year expansion of the Ottoman state. All K-12 educators are invited to apply.
