Have a third grade teacher here with me in New Jersey interested in establishing a "read aloud" or "book chat" program/connection with a classroom elsewhere in the world. The first book they are reading is "100 Dresses." We'll have a full list shortly. Ideally the connection would be "live" (skype etc.) but we realize this may be hard to do given time zone issues. Plenty of asynchronous tools can solve that problem (videos uploaded to Voicethread for example) so what we really need is a partner or two. Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

@Kevin--I'm going to put the word out in my district here in the western suburbs of Houston, TX. We don't have Skype but do have H.323 IP videoconferencing at every campus. We also have VoiceThread subscriptions.
