Language in Which You Will Present: English

Target Audience(s): Teachers, administrators, IB coordinators

Short Session Description (one line):

Learn how to create meaningful classroom experiences by connecting your classroom, school or entire district with schools in developing countries and learn how to enhance your lesson plans based on real life projects.

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

We help educators build deep connections between academics and real-world applications for their students.

The development of critical-thinking, problem-solving, leadership, decision-making, collaboration, and communication skills are infused through every aspect of our programs. We provide curriculum that can enhance writing, storytelling, multicultural studies, economics, geography, and technology components of your existing curriculum, a connection to a school or community abroad and service opportunities for your students to gain leadership skills as well as an opportunity to make an impact across the globe.

As your students get to know more about their partner communities, we work closely with you to define projects, set goals, guide you with service opportunities and carry out the dreams of students on opposite sides of the world.

We also offer speakers both from abroad and student peers from the US who have been in our program and are making an impact taking a lead on various projects.

This looks fascinating!

When is this session? I'm having trouble finding it in the conference schedule? Thanks in advance.

Hi Kyle,

Did you get my reply? 5pm central, 6 pm eastern.

Hope to see you there!

This is a fantastic initiative. I wish this could be introduced to some schools in Zimbabwe
