Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
This talk will present an approach to develop curricula using modified Bloom’s Taxonomy for making it more appealing to the students. The proposed approach uses the Project Based Learning strategy for increasing the attractiveness of the course. The case study also explores the use of ICT for effective teaching and learning. The developed curriculum has been evaluated successfully for the last three academic years. The students have shown increased interest in the courses, have acquired new skills and obtained good academic results. An important observation during the conduction of the course was that all the students have developed systems, exhibited team work and have made a poster presentation during their undergraduate/ graduate courses. This talk will also focus on how students personality can be captured by Meyer's Brick tests and can be used for finalizing Project groups which will give better team outputs and perform as high performance teams.
The presentation will also discuss about how industry people were involved from various countries for developing the curriculum and how webinars and materials available globally for courses like multicore architecture and programming , many core programming on CUDA , Digital design were developed.
Would also be interested to collobrate with faculty for joint project based learning involving Multi site teams working on the same projects getting evaluated jointly by the faculty involved in geographically different locations.
