Global Program seeking educators for paid short-term positions

Subject: Global Program seeking educators for paid field staff positions 

Global Youth Leadership Institute, a nationally recognized leader in student and teacher programs is currently seeking additional
coordinators who will serve as field leaders for our short-term education programs in the USA and abroad.

Institute Coordinator Job Description:
The GYLI Institute Coordinator will work with 1-2 other staff members to deliver the GYLI curriculum in unique learning locations such as tall-ships, mountain retreats, and international universities.  He or she will be the team member who will help shape and advance to the established GYLI curriculum.  Coordinators may have a specific focus area in part of the curriculum but will be well versed in the overall mission and vision of GYLI. Coordinators must work closely with Institute Directors and staff, as well as speakers, local site personnel, and others, to prepare in advance for each institute, and to ensure smooth delivery of the program during the Institute. 

Pre requisites:
  • Current first aid CPR certification (to be obtained by May 1, 2012) 
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong support of the GYLI vision and mission 
  • Global perspective and international experience preferred
Pay
  • Based on past diversity/facilitation/outdoor/leadership experience 
  • $150-250 per day
  • All travel and training expenses covered 

Length of programs is anywhere from 5-30 days-see specific calendar below
