Full Session Description (as long as you would like): iEARN-USA and the Buck Institute of Education are showcasing how project based learning plans in the classroom and with global collaboration do align with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Teachers will share project work their students have done and how well it helped them meet the CCSS standards.
My seniors and sophomores at St Paul Academy (MN) have over the course of the last 5 years participated in several different project based learning opportunities with other schools in India, US and Australia. I am interested to know more about how you define Common Core Standards for an independent school involved in such collaborations.
I would love to participate in this session based my experience.
