How “Flipping Your Classroom” by encouraging students to become the teachers builds community and fosters diversity as they use VoiceThreads to create public service projects that ultimately flatten the walls of the traditional classroom setting. The teacher mentored, student driven projects enhance their community commitment and light the flame of creative learning, which can extend beyond the classroom into the neighborhood and the world far beyond the campus.
