ICT tools for supporting teaching and learning. Through European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme projects, we aim to show you some concrete examples of practice of the use of ICT, introduced by the presenters, and to allow participants to share their own pedagogical experiences in this area.

Full Session Description:

The Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) provides opportunities for organisations, staff and learners involved in education and training across Europe to work together, learn from each others' expertise, and widen their experience of other cultures and languages. Funded by the European Commission, the LLP supports a wide range of education and training activities across Europe and provides opportunities for all stages of lifelong learning. The LLP is made up of several programmes, each aimed at a specific target group:

• eTwinning and Comenius for schools
• Erasmus for higher education
• Leonardo da Vinci for vocational education and training
• Grundtvig for adult education

With reference to experiments developed by European teachers from the international educational network School Beyond the Walls through eTwinning and Lifelong Learning programme projects, we aim to show you some concrete examples of the use of ICT, introduced by the presenters, and to allow participants either to share their own pedagogical experiences in this area or to ask questions about the setting up of this type of project pedagogy at both local and international levels.
