Full Session Description (as long as you would like): DeforestACTION is an environmental education program connecting students around the world to learn about, and take action on, the pressing issue of deforestation using innovative, online collaborative technologies. Since 2010, DeforestACTION has connected over 18,000 youth and students on environmental learning and action. During this session, we will share the global learning opportunities associated with DeforestACTION, which engages students in project-based learning about deforestation and environmental sustainability. By showcasing the DeforestACTION educational resources, social media and technology tools, you can learn more about this opportunity to help students develop global competencies through international collaborations.
