Across the world there are precedents indicating significant shifts in business, healthcare, and education systems from hierarchical and exclusive to collaborative and inclusive. Open and inclusive models can already be found in "open and student centered" education," "open business models along with their inclusive global social responsibility," and "Integrated Healthcare that is patient centered and includes collaboration with a greater range of healthcare professionals." Collaboration is beginning to replace competition as people around the world see the increased benefits to all people in collaboration.
For examples and presentation of the specific precedents in education, business, and healthcare, please go to: http://21stleadership.org where, in the spirit of 21st century collaboration and openness, all the information is freely available.
Including these shifts in curriculum can lead students to what is coming for them as adults. If you have more precedents to add, these will be included in the website -- open collaboration.
