DESCRIPTION:The e-Learning Courses in Cultural Diplomacy in Africa\n(F
 ebruary 4th- 28th 2013; March 4th-29th 2013; April 1st-26th 2013)\nThe
  Center for Cultural Diplomacy Studies (of the ICD Academy for Cultura
 l Diplomacy) (CCDS) has developed the Distance Learning department in 
 order to offer and enable different programs to individuals who are in
 terested in field of cultural diplomacy and related areas to have an o
 pportunity to increase their knowledge and experience in this fascinat
 ing field. Each program includes four main courses, which are taught i
 n our Masters and PhD programs. In addition, the program offers access
  to high profile guest lectures, reading material and professional net
 working opportunities to promote one’s own projects.\nFurther to the
  History and Evaluation of The cultural Diplomacy Field and its applic
 ations, this program will emphasize how cultural diplomacy can be used
  as an increasingly useful tool for building cooperation both regional
 ly and globally, and explores avenues through which this new form of d
 iplomacy can be used as a driving force to foster good governance, dev
 elopment and the promotion of human rights through the African contine
 nt.\nCertificate/Accreditation - All students will be awarded an offic
 ial certificate accredited by the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy’s
  academic board upon completion of the program. Each certificate will 
 be signed by members of the ICD Academy and Advisory Boards, which inc
 lude high-level politicians, leading academics and renowned experts, a
 ll of whom are responsible for assuring the academic quality of each o
 f the courses as well as the individual intellectual experience of eac
 h student. For those students who implement specific projects of cultu
 ral diplomacy or write exceptional final papers for their e-learning c
 ourse it is possible for the student to request letters of recommendat
 ion from the ICD to assist in their career development.\nDates, Financ
 ials & Application Procedure\nThe next Programs will be conducted on: 
 February 4th- 28th, 2013; March 4th- 28th, 2013; April 1st-26th, 2013\
 nFinancials - The tuition fee for the program is 600 Euros (including 
 4 courses) to be paid upon acceptance to the program. The payment inst
 ructions will be sent to students together with the acceptance letter.
  The program includes the following components:\nVideo lectures which
  students can watch at their convenience\nReading material relevant to
  the course’s different modules;\nOnline mentoring, discussion forum
 s, and assessments;\nNetworking access to other students and professio
 nals enrolled in the e-Learning courses\nFinal Paper to be completed w
 ithin 90 days from the end of the course\n \nThe course will be deliv
 ered via the e-learning platform module, a pedagogical tool designed t
 o help participants meet the course's learning objectives through a se
 lf-paced study routine supported by multimedia, required and optional 
 readings, discussion forums, assessment quizzes, and a wealth of other
  information. Adapted specifically to full-time professionals, partici
 pants will learn by absorbing (reading), doing (exercises), interactin
 g (online forum) and reflecting (relating to personal experiences).\nI
