Lucy Gray created this Ning Network.

The Global Education Conference Network is a collaborative, inclusive, world-wide community initiative involving students, educators, and organizations at all levels. Our activities are designed to significantly increase opportunities for connecting classrooms while supporting cultural awareness and recognition of diversity and educational access for all. The event is free and takes place entirely online.

Please join this community to receive updates about our 2017 events! We also have a new site, GlobalEd Events, that provides additional information regarding our events.

How to Navigate

  • If you are looking for general conference information, click here or look in the navigation on the left-hand side of this website. Our next online conference will take place November 6-9, 2017.
  • If you are looking to connect with members, search our member directory by country, job role, grade level, etc. We have 24,000 members in this space from around 180+ countries. You can contact members through our messaging system or by leaving a comment on member profiles.
  • If you are looking to find project partners, publicize a project, share a resource or ask questions, please post to our discussion forum. We will then feature your post, if appropriate, and send it out via our social media channels.
  • If you would like to share a global education event, post it to our events and also to our discussion forum
  • If you would like to access 2016 Global Education Conference recordings, visit this page. Keynote presentations are also available in YouTube.

Grant winners must submit a project evaluation form by April 15 and will be notified by May 1, 2017.
  • Global Leadership Week is taking place again this year and is scheduled for April 24-28, 2017. We are adding the Global Education Fair to this celebration.
  • Global Education Day will take place at the International Society for Technology in Education Conference in San Antonio, Texas, on June 25, 2016. Register now if you will be in San Antonio on this date.
  • Global Collaboration Day is an opportunity for experienced global educators to demonstrate what global collaboration looks and feels like for other students and teachers. This event took place on September 15, 2016, and our next GCD will take place on September 21, 2017.
  • Our seventh annual Global Education Conference is a free week-long online event bringing together educators and innovators from around the world. This year's conference will took place November 13-16, 2016. See the archives here.
